On Feb. 24, St. John’s welcomed alumni Reggie Herndon '91, Patrick Scorah '07, and Kristin Turner '08 for a Black History Month panel discussion. Also participating was current SJC parent Dr. Roger Mitchell, Jr.
Students, including members of the Black Student Union, heard panelists address how African Americans have resisted historic and ongoing oppression through their own lived experiences and lenses. Assistant Principal for Student Life Dana Watson guided the hour-long discussion.
