On Monday, October 18, students, faculty, and staff gathered for a fun 5K in memory of Carl Waclawik, a member of the SJC class of 2010 and cross-country team, who passed away in 2007.

Carl had a wonderful spirit, loved running, and above all, valued our school community. The run started behind Cassidy Commons and traversed Rock Creek Park along the paved path parallel to Oregon Ave. The out-and-back course was challenging but beautiful in the fall. The free event, open to the entire St. John's community, was followed by music and refreshments
